Pima for Youth

Youth ages 9 – 17

Enrichment opportunities where careers are explored and academic skills are enhanced.
Our youth curriculum teaches Science, Technology, Relationships, Engineering, Art, and Math (STREAM). In order to increase the opportunity for individualized attention and guidance, we keep the student-to-teacher ratio low.

 

FREE 2-week Workshop for High School Students Residing in 85705 Zip Code: High School students living in the 85705 Tucson zip code are encouraged to sign up for Math, Reading, and Writing workshops beginning June 6 and running through July 22.  In addition to topic support, each student will use career inventories to identify strengths and challenges while learning academic and career development processes of success.  This program includes transportation to and from Amphi High School and lunch. UPDATE: FREE 2-week Workshops for High School Students have met max enrollment. Please email pcc-youth@pima.edu if you have any questions.

High School Credit Recovery. From time to time a student may need a different approach to learn a topic.  Courses offered online in partnership with Ed2 Go have been supported by school administrators and counselors when the circumstances are a match.
