Consists of two classes: UHIT-101 Introduction to ICD Coding and UPHI-151 Creative Problem Solving.
UHIT-101 and UPHI 151 are online courses. On the start date of your course, log in to your MyPima account and click “Access D2L” under QuickLinks.
This FastTrack prepares you for the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) national certification exam. Learners will receive an overview of medical terminology, health insurance, medical billing, and an introduction to medical coding that includes ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II.
Courses in this FastTrack may be eligible for prior learning credit (PLA) if completed with a grade of “pass”.
