French Through Art I

Course: French Through Art I

An introduction to the French language through the application of art-making and cultural awareness. Students will conduct activities with basic conversation and language acquisition through dynamic art-making with acrylic paint. Includes language skills by the practice of listening comprehension, speaking, pronunciation, and vocabulary acquisition.

Location: Northwest Campus Building A Room 110

List of Art materials for purchase by students:
1. Two 16×20 canvases 
2. Set of acrylic paints:
  (Recommend BASICS brand; required colors: Yellow, Red, Blue, White, Burnt Sienna, Black ) Bring a palette or paper plate and a cup for water; set of acrylic brushes at the student’s discretion and preference.
