Course: Aviation Spark: Intro to Aircraft Maintenance

This hands-on, non-credit course introduces teens to real-world aviation maintenance. Students learn shop safety, basic tool use, introductory soldering, and the fundamentals of aircraft flight-control systems, including airframe, powerplant, and avionics basics. The course includes guided lab activities in the Aviation Technology Center’s structural repair and composites labs.
