Course: Summer STEM Robotics: Girl Power in Space

Exploration of core STEM concepts through hands-on engineering and robotics projects. Includes an introduction to circuit design using light-emitting components, basic programming of robotic arms, and the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Examines aerospace concepts and mission profiles related to the Orion spacecraft. Students apply the engineering design process to build, test, and troubleshoot air and water-propulsion rockets and program autonomous Sphero robots. Features guest speakers from the aviation, robotics, and space industries to connect classroom applications to professional career paths. Focuses on developing technical confidence, coding logic, and troubleshooting skills in an Applied Technology setting.
